VILLAGE VIP DISCOUNTS
Entering your details to become a Village VIP entitles you to a $100 discount on your first purchase over $1000+ (online only). This can only be used once per customer/address. This applies only to products listed on our online store excluding all wall art and sofas. This VIP discount cannot be used with any other promotions. All VIP discount purchases are paid in full.
For stock availability please contact us prior to placing your order. Online stock levels may not be accurate and products may incur long ETA's. By placing your order you accept that stock levels are subject to change and all shipping times are estimates only. Internal and external events outside of our control may cause delays and extended lead times to occur.
Orders advised instock have a minimum warehouse processing period of 7 business days. Within 2 Business days of purchase, we will advise the ETA of your product/s if not notified prior. Online stock levels may not be accurate and products may incur long ETA's. By placing your order you accept that stock levels are subject to change and all shipping times are estimates only.
Village Stores will not be held responsible for any postage delays or damages that may occur
CUSTOMS & TAXES
All countries have their own laws regarding the import of certain products. Village Stores has no control over these charges. We can ship internationally on selected items, please enquire prior to purchasing.
Please choose carefully. We don't refund for change of mind & wrong selection. A refund, exchange or credit will be given if deemed faulty, wrongly described, or does not do what it should within 7 days of purchase. We will provide a replacement or repair to any product that may be deemed faulty by the manufacturer.
All postage costs for any refunded items is at the responsibility of the customer unless advised otherwise. Please note that we strongly suggest using a postage bag or box that has a tracking ID as we hold no responsibility for items that go missing through the post or are returned damaged.
We do not offer refunds where circumstances beyond our control, such as COVID-19, may cause disruptions and extended lead times with your order.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you may return the product to us in it's original "new and unused" condition within 7 days of the goods being dispatched for a credit or exchange. New and unused means, all original tags attached and items unworn and unsoiled in original packaging.
We are unable to accept items that are not in the original condition. We reserve the right to refuse a product that we consider does not meet these requirements. Please note that all sale items are fully non exchangeable or refundable unless the item is assessed as faulty.
villagestores.com.au is not in conjunction with the Village Stores (Physical Store), therefore our T&C relate only to online purchases. Please note any returns will be issued with a credit note and/or a product exchange.
A restocking fee of 15% will be deducted from the credit issued on any online purchase that is returned for change of mind.

At Village we take great care to ensure that your orders are packed and shipped safely to your chosen destination. However, due to the nature of shipping, we cannot guarantee that your order will arrive in perfect condition. Local & Interstate Deliveries are completed by third party freight companies. We are not responsible for any damages incurred during transit. While we take every precaution to package your furniture securely and protect it from damage, we cannot be held liable for any damages that occur during transit.
- Any damages that occur during shipping must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt of your Product. We can then assist and support you with your logement of a claim with the third party freight provider. We will do our best in providing any documentation necessary to support your claim.
- For all orders, excluding textiles and fashion we use Removalists as they are more reliable and suited to deliver large heavy items. You also have the option to choose a Courier such as TNT, StarTrack or Aramex. As these use conveyor belt sorting facilities there is a higher risk of damage to occur.
- If a claim is approved by the shipping carrier, we will either repair or replace the damaged item, depending on the severity of the damage and the availability of replacement pieces or parts and the outcome of the claim.
- If a replacement item is required, we will make every effort to get the replacement to you as quickly as possible. However, please be aware that replacement items may take several weeks/months to arrive.
By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions regarding our delivery policy. While we strive to provide you with the best possible customer service and support, we cannot be held responsible for damages that occur during shipping. Products will be assessed by suppliers and manufacturers before being deemed faulty or labeled as a manufacturers fault. All postage costs for faulty goods will be covered by Village Stores.
Product Colour Discrepancies & Portrayal:
Every effort is made to portray items accurately. Please be advised all computer screen colour settings vary and can affect the way products appear on the viewing monitor. Village Stores shall not be held responsible for any colour discrepancies. We will make every effort possible to display our products as clearly and accurately as possible.
Our reclaimed furniture ranges are produced by recycled timbers, no two are alike and may vary in colour. Unique characteristics are viewed as perfect imperfections and we do not deem variances as faulty.
Environmental elements can impact timbers causing the timber to shrink and or expand leading small cracks to possibly form. To assist in avoiding this occurring we recommend using Gilly Stephenson beeswax cream polish to keep your timber nourished.
If there are any concerns with your reclaimed products, images will be required and an assessment will take place by management and manufacturers. Village is not held accountable If your table is experiencing splitting as a result of the change in environmental elements. Any exchanges or repairs will be at the cost of the customer unless deemed faulty by the manufacturer.

However, slight variations in colour and design may occur due to the nature of handmade items. As every monitor displays different colour tones, the colour of pictures on our website and social media cannot be taken as a true colour indication of the actual product. Some products' tones may appear to vary from catalogue or website images.

Every Uniqwa piece has a story... our collections are mostly individually hand-made pieces. As most of our products are made from natural materials, elements such as texture, colour and pattern may vary from piece to piece.
Reclaimed timbers, naturally weathered materials and off-cuts otherwise discarded are frequently part of Uniqwa design features.
Natural splitting, cracking, and loss of natural oils may occur and form part of the characteristics and beauty of Uniqwa products. These are not viewed as imperfections or faults, rather part of the natural life and beauty of timber.
We believe the use of natural materials and hand-crafted elements result is a testament to the unique qualities found in materials originating from nature.
