SHOWROOM SALES ASSISTANT - CASUAL

As the Showroom Sales Assistant you will be required for carrying out the following duties:

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

    • Provide product knowledge and styling advice to help customers make confident purchasing decisions.

    • Maintain store presentation, including assisting with furniture displays and homewares styling.

    • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.

    • Handle customer enquiries in person, by phone, and via email.

    • Assist with stock unpacking, pricing, replenishment, and general store upkeep.

    • Contribute to achieving store sales targets and KPIs.

    • Uphold Village Stores’ brand standards and create an exceptional customer experience.


    Skills & Experience

    • Previous retail sales experience (furniture or homewares experience highly regarded).

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent attention to detail and personal presentation.

    • A genuine passion for interiors, design, and home styling.

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

    • Available to work Saturdays and Sundays (with potential additional shifts during peak periods).
