The Sharman Bench is a stunningly handcrafted piece, designed to complement the Sharman Dining Table. Constructed from reclaimed marine teak, this bench features square, tapered legs and carries a rich history.

Each piece of teak is salvaged from old fishing boats, once navigated by Sulawesi fishermen across the remote Indonesian islands. Renowned for its remarkable durability, this timber has endured the rough southern oceans, making it both strong and unique.

The weathered planks, aged by the elements, are carefully chosen, lightly sanded, and planed, preserving their authentic character. Distinctive nicks, cracks, knots, nail holes, and imperfections narrate the story of the wood’s origin, ensuring each bench is truly one of a kind.

Meticulously crafted, this bench celebrates the beauty of natural imperfections and reclaimed materials. As with all hand-finished pieces, variations in the wood are to be expected and cherished.

To maintain its beauty, apply a thin layer of bee’s wax once or twice a year. This will enhance the natural finish and allow the teak to last for generations
