The unique charred finish, is called Shou Sugi Ban - an ancient Japanese exterior finishing technique, which preserves wood by charring it with fire. The technique results in a natural black finishing without any of the chemicals common timber stains contains. Two sizes available.

Each piece will be different and unique. Due to the thickness of the lychee wood, natural splitting will occur over time and form the characteristics and beauty of this product.
